• NYS holds weekly Sunday rehearsals at Norwalk City Hall, located at 125 East Avenue in Norwalk. A weekly rehearsal may also be scheduled on a Saturday or weekday if City Hall is not available, or if we need to make up a missed rehearsal.

• Pre-dress rehearsals are normally scheduled on a weekday prior to the concert.

• Dress rehearsals are typically scheduled on the Saturday prior to the concert, with the exception for Concert Orchestra.

• Rehearsals start promptly! Musicians should arrive 15 minutes before rehearsal to warm up and tune.

• All players are expected to assist with the set-up and clean-up of the rehearsal area.

• If you are going to miss a rehearsal, you should Report An Absence on-line. Other attendance issues should be directed to Sara Watkins, Executive Director.
