Members of Concert and Principal Orchestra traveled to France June 2026. A biannual tradition since 2008. Planning for the 2028 tour begins this January 2026

NYS Principal Orchestra performed at Carnegie Hall June 7, 2026 at 2 pm. NYS has performed at Carnegie Hall every three years since 1993. Our next concert will be June 2029.
Your gift to NYS helps us to provide scholarships to students who might not otherwise be able to afford it. Thanks to everyone who has supported us this season. We couldn't do it without you!

"In my free time I love to be outdoors, and I'm the president of the Ski club at NHS. I'm an active member of the Bears Beating Cancer club and I volunteer with the Norwalk Symphony. I'm currently studying French, and I also love to travel. (I've been to 8 countries!)
My favorite NYS memory was the European performance tour to Austria and Prague last summer. I'm so grateful for the opportunity to have met some of my closest friends and to have performed wonderful music abroad for local audiences.."
